Four Arkansas Division 2 schools were picked in the top 10 of the National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America’s pre-season poll for the central region.

Arkansas Tech was picked fourth, Harding 6th, Southern Arkansas 8th, and Henderson State 10th. Arkansas-Monticello was just outside the top 10 voting.

The Wonder Boys were just outside the top 25 nationally, collection 6 points and coming in 31st.

Harding University senior third baseman Logan Lacey was named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA)’s 2026 First-Team Preseason All-American. Laney and senior catcher Collin Helms were named to the Preseason All-Central Region Team.

Arkansas Tech’s Cole Dawson and Tyler Sardelli were also named to the All-Central Region team at their respective positions of shortstop and first base.
