Eli Marvin, a senior catcher at Arkansas-Monticello, has been named the D2 Hitter of the Week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.

In four games, Marvin was 14-for-19 (.737) with four home runs, 14 RBI, 27 total bases, nine runs scored, one walk, and one hit-by-pitch while guiding the Boll Weevils to a series sweep over Oklahoma Baptist University.

Arkansas-Monticello will host Henderson State this weekend.
