Jake Dempsey was as named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week.

The senior pitcher tossed a four-hit complete game in game one of the Eagles’ series against McMurry. Dempsey’s winning day included only one walk and no earned runs as he struck out two over 9.0 innings.

The Eagles’ ace is among the SCAC’s top-3 in wins with three. He is the team leader in starts (5), innings pitched (26.2) and strikeouts (13). In three of his outings, he has allowed two earned runs or less.
